House Rules:
- The principles of inclusiveness and tolerance are being observed in this House. Prayer healing requests are open to all, regardless of religion, race or creed, as long as you believe the power of prayer and divine energies can effect positive changes in one's health.
For practicing Christians, the two images beside that of The Christ are of Aesculapius and Hygeia, both are the mythological founders of Medicine and the healing arts. They were placed there to set the mood for the House of Healing and are not meant to encourage "worshiping other gods".
For the non-religious, non-Christians, pagans or magical people, the image of The Christ is not meant to impose the religion of the dominant culture on others but only to use images that are generally accepted by most peoples to symbolize healing and divine energies. Besides, The Christ is an obvious counterpart of Apollo in the Greek pantheon. They both represent "the son of the sun" and are commonly regarded as solar healing deities.
- The Light Net Healing Prayer Service is not a substitute for seeking medical help.
- Our Healing Prayer Service is powerful and effective, as it is a form of intercessory prayer, that is selfless by nature. When we strive to be an instrument of healing for others, we are also blessed a 100fold, in return. Thus, we also encourage healing petitioners or ailing persons to volunteer to our healing circle to pray for others, to facilitate their own healings.
- Volunteers are of two kinds: those affiliated with us and those who are not. Those wishing to affiliate with us would simply notify us via email or our online forms and they will receive a more detailed instruction on the healing prayer arts and will be assigned private prayer requests/petitions.
Those who do not wish to affiliate with us but are willing to help and pray for others, can just list down the requests posted online (publicly) and pray for them in their own way, provided only beneficient energies are sent.
- Healing prayer volunteers not affiliated with us but who are also seeking for an effective prayer healing method, we recommend the use of the Healing Meditation using the Great Invocation , and followed by the Prayer of help to Angelic beings of Light. Just redirect the flow of divine healing energies to the petitioner and substitute the "I" or "me" in the prayers with the name of the healing petitioner. However, the wordings of the The Great Invocation should not be altered.
- The names of healing prayer petitioners are being included in our monthly Group Healing Prayer Service and at the same time each names are assigned to a volunteer to be included in his/her daily meditations.
We also request ailing persons or healing petitioners to include these prayers in his/her daily moments of silence to facilitate the desired healing: The Self-healing prayer OR the Prayer of help to Angelic beings of Light, followed by the Healing Meditation using the Great Invocation .
We will appreciate any feedback of successful healing to serve as inspiration to others.
- Light Net and all the volunteers are not resposible for the healing or non-healing of prayer petitioners. Our role is just to pray with you and petition God or the Cosmic forces or whatever you call your Divine deities to direct their beneficient energies to you. It is your God (or Goddeses) that deserve your greatest thanks and praises.
