"Now is the need and the demand...

to sacrifice all we have to the helping of humanity" -- DK

The Lord's Prayer

A powerful and moving version performed by Andrea Bocelli and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. The video was linked from Youtube (Jose Luis Losada Pereiro's channel).

A correspondences chart of this great prayer as related to the sephirot of the Qabalistic Tree of Life is also presented below.

The Lord's Prayer expresses the immediate evolutionary need of humanity and one of the reasons for Christ's coming two thousand years ago. It is redemption. And if spoken stripped of symbolisms: it is the manifestation of the divine qualities on Earth - the spiritualization of matter, making it a reflection of the Divine. Beautifully expressed in the Lord's prayer: "May Thy Kingdom Come, May Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven...". In our belief, this prayer also invokes for the redemption of the physical plane condition which is represented by the supplication for "our daily bread" to make sustenance and humanity's other basic needs available for all. This supplication is still relevant even today because widespread greed resulting in poverty and social injustices still exist in our present time. This prayer also laid out the foundation for the redemption of the emotional plane when it supplicated for the "forgiveness of our sins, as we forgive those who tresspass against us..." The full prayer for the redemption of the emotional plane, in our belief, was given out a thousand years later through the Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi.
